Terebinte is situated on 62 JB Marks road (previously Chelmsford) forms part of a property in upper Glenwood in Durban. It has the charm of a traditional Durban historic home with wooden floors and high ceilings and an old fashioned garden, with Cycads, mango and banana trees. The proprietors, Gerhard and his wife, Yuri Duraan, will welcome you with open arms and make you feel right at home. Settle into your private (separate) self catering room, whilst enjoying the comforts of a home away from home, with just that little extra attention to detail.

Terebinte has its own vehicle entrances (off street safe parking) and is situated in the courtyard of the main property. It is within walking distance to St Augustine's Hospital and Entabeni Hospital. Parklands and McCord Hospitals are about 2km away. This makes it the perfect overnight stay for family members of patients undergoing procedures. We also love to host people who are embarking on MSC cruises and will do drop-offs at the harbour.

Glenwood is centrally located and close to all amenities – the beachfront is approximately 4 km away. The area is also a hive of arty and speciality coffee shops and restaurants and we are very close to the renowned Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre, as well as the Rumbalow Theatre. Shopping centres such as Pavillion, Musgrave Centre and Davenport Square are also close by where there are loads of entertainment, ie Ster Kinekor, NuMetro etc.

The rooms are furnished with antique and eclectic furniture and boast artwork from local artists and Yuri herself.
